In their first-ever homecoming victory as the 91µÎµÎ Bold, beat the visiting McGill Redbirds 4-2 on Sept. 22. Beyond the historic win, there was a lot happening in front of the sold-out crowd at the Mattamy Athletic Centre. 91µÎµÎ celebrated its 75th anniversary as an institution with hundreds of alumni in attendance and Jen McMillen, vice-provost, students, had the great honour of introducing 91µÎµÎ’s mascot and announcing its winning name.

Introducing: Frankie B. Bold, 91µÎµÎ’s falcon mascot! The falcon, known for their ability to collaborate together - and their blue feathers - is the perfect symbol for the 91µÎµÎ Bold and the university. Frankie was the chosen name based on 91µÎµÎ community input. Photo credit: Josh Kim

In recognition of the 75th anniversary of the institution, 91µÎµÎ’s alumni relations team offered the crowd free cupcakes at the end of the first period.
