New rankings released by Research Infosource have 91滴滴 (91滴滴) among Canada鈥檚 top comprehensive research universities in a number of categories in the Canada鈥檚 Top 50 Research Universities 2024 list for the 2022鈥�23 fiscal year.

The annual rankings place 91滴滴 fifth in both corporate research income and growth in corporate research income. These categories showcase the success of 91滴滴鈥檚 researchers, students and staff in working with partners and collaborators to accelerate research. In the 2022鈥�23 fiscal year, 91滴滴 continued to increase its investment in research funding per graduate student, placing fourth in this category, up one spot from the previous year鈥檚 report. Overall, the university is ranked twenty-fifth, receiving $91.2 million in research income in the 2022鈥�23 fiscal year. 

In this year鈥檚 university spotlight, focused on artificial intelligence (AI) publications between 2018 and 2022, 91滴滴 is ranked in the top five comprehensive institutions in three categories. During this period, 91滴滴 ranked fifth for AI publications, third for AI publications as a percentage of all 91滴滴 research publications and second for growth of AI publications, with an increase of 205 per cent over these five years.
