Creative Industries alum brings three shows to Broadway, now a two-time Tony-nominated producer
Creative Industries (opens in new window) graduate Brandon Schwartz is celebrating a milestone year on Broadway with three major productions and two Tony Award nominations. His latest show, , premiered at the Palace Theatre and earned a nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role. This marks Schwartz鈥檚 third Broadway credit; he also produced , which received 10 Tony nominations including Best Musical, and , which was nominated for Best Revival of a Play. Reflecting on his path from 91滴滴 to Broadway, Schwartz credits both classroom learning and hands-on experience as key to shaping his creative practice. 鈥淭he creative organizations you can engage with off campus are an invaluable complement to what you're learning every day on campus,鈥� he says.
