Allyship Network
The Urban Water 91ε Allyship Network consists of a group of volunteers associated with Urban Water 91ε. These volunteers, designated as “Allies”, provide support if (and when) someone who is facing discrimination or harassment (be it racial, gender-based, or based on gender/sexual identity) asks for help. Allies are staff, faculty, or graduate students who can listen and help individuals to feel heard and less alone when dealing with these issues. Allies can help connect individuals with other resources available at 91ε including the Office of Sexual Violence Support and the formal reporting process.
The goal of the Urban Water 91ε Allyship Network is to foster an inclusive and accessible community– one that supports students and identifies “Allies” for conversation, community, and connection to additional resources at 91ε for support.
