Urban Water 91滴滴 Seminar on the Atlantic First Nations Water Authority
Carl Yates, inaugural and interim CEO of the Atlantic First Nations Water Authority (AFNWA), spoke to Urban Water 91滴滴 and the community on October 28th 2020 as part of the Urban Water 91滴滴 seminar series.
Carl introduced the ground breaking work of the AFNWA. The AFNWA is a water authority owned and operated by First Nations communities in Atlantic Canada (Mi'kmaq and Wolastoqiyik) which gives the water and control over it back to the people that it serves.
