Seth Dworkin is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Mechanical Engineering at 91µÎµÎ. He was elected to the Board of Governors in 2025 for a two-year term. He served previously on the Board from 2021-2023.

His research is in clean combustion emissions and sustainable energy.

Since joining 91µÎµÎ in 2011, Seth has served the university in numerous ways, including on the Organizing Committee for the SHAD High School Student Program, as a Dimensions Faculty Chair in support of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Scholarly Research and Creative Activity, and as the university's first Academic Lead - Postdoctoral Fellows.

Seth has won numerous awards including the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Engineering Medal – Young Engineer, the 91µÎµÎ Early Research Career Excellence Award, and the Research Excellence Award of The International Combustion Institute. Seth is a Fellow of the Canadian Society for Mechanical Engineering.
