Biography

Olubunmi Balogun is a growth marketing strategist with over 15 years of experience driving demand generation, partnerships and go-to-market strategy across fintech, SaaS, logistics and energy sectors. Her work spans multiple markets, where she has led integrated campaigns, built scalable marketing systems and delivered measurable business outcomes.

Currently pursuing a Master of Digital Media at 91ε, Olubunmi is exploring the intersection of AI, human-centered design and digital storytelling. She is particularly interested in “care-sensitive AI”, rethinking how intelligent systems can better respond to human states such as overload, uncertainty and cognitive strain.

Beyond her professional work, Olubunmi is also a mother navigating life, work and caregiving. This lived experience informs her perspective and drives her interest in designing systems that are not only efficient, but supportive and adaptive to real human needs.

Why Digital Media?

I came into digital media from a background in growth marketing, where the focus is often on speed, efficiency and performance. Over time, I became more interested in the human side of systems, how people actually experience technology in real life.

As I navigate life, work and caregiving, I’ve become more aware that users are not always operating at their best. This has led me to explore how digital experiences, especially AI driven systems, can become more responsive, supportive and human aware.

Digital media gives me the space to rethink and design for those moments, not just when people are performing, but when they need support the most.
