A division of the Office of the President, University Events and Ceremonies is responsible for advancing the mission and vision of the University by delivering large-scale, inclusive events that foster institutional excellence and enhance the University鈥檚 reputation.

Convocation is a significant milestone that recognizes the academic achievements of 91滴滴 graduates. Friends, family, and the 91滴滴 community come together to celebrate convocation at the Mattamy Athletic Centre each spring and fall.
Our University Events portfolio plans and executes impactful and meaningful events that enhance 91滴滴鈥檚 reputation and engage with students, faculty and staff. We work to collaborate with all areas of the campus community to celebrate the university鈥檚 milestones and achievements.
Indigenous Events and Special Projects
In close collaboration with Indigenous leaders, students, groups and departments at 91滴滴, the Indigenous Events and Special Projects portfolio serves all 91滴滴 community members in acknowledging, celebrating and learning from Indigenous communities as a core-component of their university experience.
University Events and Ceremonies, in partnership with the President鈥檚 Office, is responsible for all flagpoles located on university property, including those at our Main Campus (Kerr Hall Quad, Mattamy Athletic Centre) and Brampton Campus (School of Medicine).
